Seven days that change how kids think

Day 1–2

Electronics & circuits fundamentals

Voltage, current, LEDs, breadboards, basic components. Students build their first working circuit on day 1. No prior experience needed.

Day 3–4

Build your RC car — chassis & drivetrain

Assembling the frame, mounting motors, wiring the ESC, understanding gear ratios and torque with real components.

Day 5

Control systems & radio pairing

Pairing transmitter and receiver, calibrating the steering servo. First full drive test in the courtyard. Exciting!

Day 6

Tuning & customisation for dirt

Suspension adjustment, weight distribution, tyre choice for loose surfaces. Race strategy session with instructors.

Day 7 🏁

Camp race day — internal dirt track event

Students race the cars they built against each other. Certificates, trophies & prize for fastest lap. Parents and family invited to watch.

★ The RC car kit (worth ₹3,499) is included in the camp fee. Every student takes their built car home after camp ends.

DoQuest RC Dirt Race — 2026

Every school enters from the same kit. The race is decided by engineering skill, driver ability and creative modifications — not money.

Cars must be built from the official DoQuest RC car kit. No commercial RC cars permitted on the day.

Chassis, tyre and body modifications are strongly encouraged. Motor and ESC upgrades are not permitted — same hardware for all.

Format: 3 timed qualifying laps, top 8 fastest times advance to the 5-lap final on the dirt oval circuit.

Schools entering 3 or more cars are eligible for the Team Trophy, awarded to the best average finishing position.

A separate Best Engineering Award is judged by a panel on build quality, design innovation and written documentation.

Junior (Grades 5–8) and Senior (Grades 9–12) categories run separately. Mixed-grade teams compete in Senior.

*Entry is free for all registered teams. Teams must bring their own DoQuest-kit-built car. No cars provided on race day.
