The only place in India where school kids build a real 4WD RC car from scratch — then race it on an actual dirt track against other schools. Engineering that kids actually ask to come back to.
Voltage, current, LEDs, breadboards, basic components. Students build their first working circuit on day 1. No prior experience needed.
Assembling the frame, mounting motors, wiring the ESC, understanding gear ratios and torque with real components.
Pairing transmitter and receiver, calibrating the steering servo. First full drive test in the courtyard. Exciting!
Suspension adjustment, weight distribution, tyre choice for loose surfaces. Race strategy session with instructors.
Students race the cars they built against each other. Certificates, trophies & prize for fastest lap. Parents and family invited to watch.
Every school enters from the same kit. The race is decided by engineering skill, driver ability and creative modifications — not money.
Cars must be built from the official DoQuest RC car kit. No commercial RC cars permitted on the day.
Chassis, tyre and body modifications are strongly encouraged. Motor and ESC upgrades are not permitted — same hardware for all.
Format: 3 timed qualifying laps, top 8 fastest times advance to the 5-lap final on the dirt oval circuit.
Schools entering 3 or more cars are eligible for the Team Trophy, awarded to the best average finishing position.
A separate Best Engineering Award is judged by a panel on build quality, design innovation and written documentation.
Junior (Grades 5–8) and Senior (Grades 9–12) categories run separately. Mixed-grade teams compete in Senior.
